Create an onsite popup
Design a targeted popup with reusable content blocks and safe display rules.
See it in Leado
What you’ll achieve
- A targeted onsite popup that renders a complete default or personalized state, respects display frequency, and records its intended interaction.
Follow the workflow
-
1
Open Actions → Popups
Create a popup for the selected connected website.
-
2
Choose the objective
Define whether the popup collects consent, promotes an offer, recommends a product, or guides visitors.
-
3
Assemble the content
Add text, imagery, calls to action, a subscription form, or a Products block. For personalized products, choose the behavioral or commercial source, quantity, presentation controls, and a non-empty bestseller, recently added, or static fallback.
-
4
Set display rules
Choose pages, devices, timing, frequency, and audience conditions that prevent an intrusive experience.
-
5
Preview and test
Review close behavior, focus, responsive layout, form submission, destinations, and repeated-view suppression.
-
6
Publish and monitor
Activate the popup after approval and compare views, interactions, and conversions against the intended objective.
Verify your work
- The popup appears only on the intended pages, devices, timing, and audience state
- Close, CTA, form, and product destinations work in a clean browser
- A low-history visitor receives the configured product fallback instead of an empty block
If something doesn’t look right
The popup does not appear
Confirm it is active, the website script is seen, targeting matches, and frequency suppression is not hiding it.
Products are empty
Verify active synchronized products, the selected source, and a usable fallback.
The popup repeats too often
Tighten frequency and visitor rules, then retest in a clean browser profile.
Limitations and safeguards
Browser storage, consent, blockers, identity, and page-script conflicts can affect targeting and frequency; product personalization is only as current as synchronized data.
