Connect social and advertising accounts
Authorize the destinations your team will use for publishing while keeping account access controlled.
See it in Leado
What you’ll achieve
- A verified owned destination that Leado can use for the approved publishing, ad-management, or reply workflow.
What you’ll need
- Administrator or publishing access on the destination platform
Follow the workflow
-
1
Choose the action before connecting
Identify whether the team needs social publishing, Meta ad management, Google Ads management, or reputation replies. Each destination requires its own provider connection and permissions.
-
2
Open the matching Settings connection
Start authorization from the connection used by that feature. A competitor-tracking source does not grant publishing access.
-
3
Sign in with an authorized platform user
Use a person who can access the exact Page, profile, channel, business, ad customer, or Google Business location required by the action.
-
4
Approve the requested permissions
Review the provider screen and retain the Page, profile, channel, customer, publishing, or management access required for the intended action.
-
5
Verify the exact destination identity
Back in Leado, compare the provider name and identifier with the owned destination. Similar names can belong to agencies, regional accounts, or another business portfolio.
-
6
Create a safe draft or paused test
Use a non-public social draft or paused ad campaign where supported. Confirm that Leado reports the expected destination and provider resource identifier.
-
7
Monitor and reauthorize
Reconnect when a token expires, the provider revokes access, an administrator changes permissions, or ownership changes. Recheck scheduled actions afterward.
Verify your work
- The provider name and resource ID match the intended owned destination
- A safe draft, paused campaign, sync, or permitted test reaches the expected account
- The connection remains active without a token or permission warning
If something doesn’t look right
A destination is missing
Confirm the signed-in platform user has access and reauthorize with the required permission.
The wrong account appears
Disconnect that authorization and reconnect while signed into the correct provider portfolio.
A previously working action fails
Inspect token expiry, role changes, transferred ownership, and the provider error.
Limitations and safeguards
Provider permissions and supported actions differ by platform and can change independently of Leado; competitor-tracking access is not publishing authorization.
